Mile High Music Festival

For Joey's birthday this year I got him Mile High Music Festival tickets for July 19th and 20th. The lineup was AMAZING! Tom Petty, Steve Winwood, John Mayer, Dave Matthews...just to name a few. It was sooo hot those days, but we stayed until the last band played on Sunday night. Which, by the way was Dave Matthews and he played until after midnight for a 3 hour show. It was so awesome. The engery those guys were putting out was just crazy. We also saw, O.A.R., OneRepublic, Jason Mraz, Gavin Degraw, and Flogging Molly. If you have never heard Flogging Molly I suggest it. They are a CRAZY Irish band that Joey and I have just gone crazy over. The main dude is a red head, as foul mouthed as a sailor, and loves his beer but he puts on an awesome show.

More to come on our new house (which we moved into right after this). We miss everyone!

Vegas Baby!

My first trip to Vegas! We had a great time. It was soooo hot, averaging about 106 a day. Needless-to-say we laid by the pool all day and ventured out at night. I thought Vegas was cool, but was a little disappointed. I think I was expecting more from it. The water show at the Bellagio was by far the highlight of our trip...well.... besides the Flamingos. I do love Flamingos and these were real and just inside of the Flamingo Casino, that also housed Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville. I am getting close to visiting all the Margaritavilles. Here are a couple of pics from our trip.

Mom & Dad came to Visit
